Admission requirements

For high school students originating from Ontario, the following courses are prerequisites for the Health Sciences program:

• English or French – ENG4U or FRA4U
• Biology – SBI4U
• And two of the following:
  • Advanced Functions – MHF4U
  • Calculus and Vectors – MCV4U
  • Chemistry – SCH4U
  • Physics – SPH4U

For high school students originating from Quebec, who did not attend CEGEP. The following courses are prerequisites for the Health Sciences program:

• English or French
• Science and Technology program – with or without the Environmental and Technology optional course (Secondary IV level)
• Any two of:
  • Chemistry 534
  • Physics 534
  • Technical and Scientific option or Science option (Secondary V level).  You will be required to do a make-up course in Functions and/or Calculus and Vectors

For Quebec students who attended CEGEP:

• English 603 or French 601
• Biology (101) General Biology
• Any two of:
  • Chemistry (202) General Chemistry or Organic Chemistry
  • Physics (203) Mechanics or Electricity and Magnetism
  • Mathematics (201) Calculus 1
  • Mathematics (201) Algebra 1
