Jovana received her B.Sc. in Human Kinetics degree at the University of Ottawa in June 2011. She started her M.Sc. thesis in September 2011 under the supervision of Dr. Ollie Jay. Her research will focus on how thermoregulatory responses are influenced by aerobic fitness.

Jovana is a certified exercise physiologist (CSEP-CEP) and has worked in both a strength and conditioning setting with elite athletes and a rehabilitation setting. She is currently the student athletic trainer for the University of Ottawa varsity men's basketball team.
