Biography

I have devoted 15 years of my professional career to teaching nursing care at the Collège de l'Outaouais, during which I completed a master’s degree and a doctorate in education (measurement and evaluation). My doctoral dissertation discussed the evaluation of clinical teaching in nursing science. In July 2002, I joined the faculty team of the School of Nursing. My main area of research interest is the evaluation of teaching in clinical settings, which has formed the basis for my involvement in the Ottawa-Carleton Council of Nurse Executives (OCCNE) as a member of the Advisory Committee on the Situation of Preceptorship in the Teaching of Nursing Science. Research into mental health and psychiatric care is also of interest to me since I have extensive experience with these clienteles.
