Dean’s Award of Excellence
Undergraduate Studies: Awarded to the full time students with the top three highest marks from each program of study during the past academic year (min 8.5 agpa). May be awarded to more than three students in case of equal marks.
Graduate Studies: Awarded to the top student of each discipline with the highest average in a master’s coursebased
or clinical program and one to the best thesis in
a master’s and doctoral program.
Excellence in Education
This award recognizes educators of exceptional qualities who demonstrate outstanding teaching while maintaining a solid research program.Excellence in Teaching
This award is presented to professors for their contribution to teaching, whether in instructional ability, innovation, course design, curriculum development or their interpersonal skills.Excellence for Part Time Professor
This award is presented to a part-time professor in recognition for their contribution to teaching excellence.Dean’s Award
Established in 2005, this award recognizes teachers for their excellence in various fields: teaching,research, administration and service to the community.
Excellence in Research
This award emphasizes the exceptional research work of a professor.Young Researcher Excellence
This award is presented to an individual who has made outstanding contributions to research and has seven years or less in a tenure-track position, beginning as an assistant professor.Excellence in Service to the Community
This new 2010 award is presented to a member or a group from the Faculty of Health Sciences that made an outstanding contribution to the community.
Staff Award of Excellence
This award allows the Faculty to formally acknowledge our members of the administrative staff through the special contributions they have made in their work. This excellence award is presented to honour:
