Biography
Dr. MacIntosh is an Assistant Professor in the School of Human Kinetics. He has an educational background in Kinesiology with an emphasis in sport management. His research program has primarily focused on uncovering and understanding the influence of organizational culture in the Canadian fitness industry. His research also involves the study of sport for development within international and national settings. Other research interests include organizational behavior, sport marketing and event management.
Dr. MacIntosh has acted as a consultant to a number of different sport organizations in the areas of improving organizational culture, marketing and human resources in both Canada and the United States. He obtained his Ph.D. from The University of Western Ontario. At the University of Ottawa, he teaches the sport administration courses at the undergraduate level and the organizational behavior course at the graduate level.
