Biography
Yves Lajoie is an associate professor
in the School of Human Kinetics. He obtained his Ph.D. in motor control
and learning from the Laval University in 1994. In 1995, he realized
one year of post-doc in physiotherapy at McGill University where he
received a fellowship from the Center of Excellence in Neurosciences.
In 1995, he joined Laurentian University as an assistant professor.
Since 1996, he has been carrying out externally funded research (NSERC)
in the area of cognitive involvement, static and dynamic equilibrium
and aging. He is a member of the "Society for Neurosciences"
and of the "North American Society for Psychology of Sports and
Physical Education".
